6-Deoxy-1,2:3,4-di-O-isopropylidene--D-galacto-heptodialdo-1,5-pyranose diphenyl dithioacetal

Abstract: The structure of the title compound, C₂₅H₃₀O₅S₂, was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction at 100  K. The bond angles of the dithiane unit as well as the bond lengths of the whole molecule are within the expected ranges.
