Abstract: In the title compound, a modified synthetic D-homo steroid, C24H31NO4, the cyclohexene ring adjacent to the aromatic ring adopts a half-chair conformation, while the cyclohexane ring has an ideal chair conformation and the heterocyclic ring has a sofa conformation. The butyl substituent is nearly planar, with this plane lying almost perpendicular to the least-squares plane of the heterocyclic ring. The crystal structure contains a series of weak C-H
O intermolecular interactions.
