Abstract: The V^V atom in the title complex, [V(C₁₆H₁₂C₁₂N₂O₄)(C₁₃H₁₀NO₂)O], is coordinated by two O atoms and one N atom of the tridentate hydrazone ligand, and by two O atoms of the bidentate hydroxamate co-ligand, thus defining a distorted octahedral VO(ONO)(ON) geometry.
