Abstract: The title compound C₃₃H₄₉NO₁₀, which is an important chiral template for the synthesis of chiral amino compounds, has been successfully synthesized. The glucopyranose ring adopts a chair conformation. There is an intramolecular O-HN hydrogen bond.
