Tris(1,10-phenanthroline-[kappa]2N,N')zinc(II) bis(perchlorate) ethanol solvate monohydrate

Y. Wei, C. Yuan and P. Yang

Abstract: The title compound, [Zn(C12H8N2)3](ClO4)2·C2H6O·H2O, was crystallized from an aqueous ethanol (1:1) solution of Zn(ClO4)2·6H2O and 1,10-phenanthroline. The Zn atom is six-coordinated by six N atoms from three 1,10-phenanthroline ligands, with a slightly distorted octahedral geometry.
