Tricarbonyl(3-carboxypropyl)(⁵-cyclopentadienyl)tungsten(II)

Abstract: The bond lengths and angles in the title compound, [W(C₅H₅)(C₄H₇O₂)(CO)₃], are as expected for a molecule of this kind. The presence of the carboxylic acid group leads, however, to the creation of hydrogen-bonded dimers consisting of pairs of centrosymmetrically related molecules.
