Abstract: The title compound, C₂₄H₃₁N₂O₂⁺·Cl^-, is a potential drug designed as a hybrid molecule with antihypertensive, antioxidant and -adrenolytic activity. It contains nearly planar benzofuran and benzene ring systems, and a piperazine ring which adopts an almost perfect chair conformation.
