9-Chloro-2,3-diphenyl-5,6-dihydroimidazo[1,2-c]quinazolin-5-one N,N-dimethylformamide solvate

Abstract: The title compound, C₂₂H₁₄ClN₃O·C₃H₇NO, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-(5-chloro-2-nitrophenyl)-4,5-diphenylimidazole with triphosgene, induced by a low-valent titanium reagent (TiCl₄/Zn). The dihydropyrimidine ring adopts a skew-boat conformation.
