Abstract: In the title mononuclear complex, [Cu(C14H9O3)2(CH4O)(H2O)]·2CH3OH, the CuII atom has an elongated octahedral coordination environment, defined by two hydroxyl and two carboxylate O atoms from two bidentate 9-hydroxyfluorene-9-carboxylate ligands, and one water and one methanol molecule in cis positions. A supramolecular chain structure is constructed via hydrogen-bonding interactions.
