Abstract: In the asymmetric unit of the title complex, [Zn(NCS)₂(C₆H₅N₃)₂]·0.5C₆H₅N₃, there are two independent Zn^II atoms, which are four-coordinated in a distorted tetrahedral coordination environment defined by four N atoms from two monodentate 1H-benzotriazole ligands and two terminal isothiocyanate ligands.
