Abstract: In the title compound, C34H30N2O2, the pyrrolidine and piperidinone rings each adopt a half-chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the two phenyl-ring substituents is 70.4 (1)°. Intramolecular C-H
O hydrogen bonds are observed in the crystal structure. In addition to these interactions, C-H
interactions also play a role in stabilizing the crystal structure.
