1,8-Anthraquinono-18-crown-5 monohydrate

Abstract: The monohydrate of 1,8-anthraquinono-18-crown-5, C₂₂H₂₂O₇·H₂O, crystallizes in the space group P $\overline 1$ with one complex molecule in the asymmetric unit, encapsulating the water molecule. The crystal structure is stabilized by hydrogen-bonding and aromatic [pi] - [pi] stacking interactions.
