Bis(-9-oxidofluorene-9-carboxylato-³O,O':O)bis[aqua(1H-imidazole-N³)copper(II)] methanol solvate

Abstract: The title compound, [Cu₂(C₁₄H₈O₃)₂(C₃H₄N₂)₂(H₂O)₂]·CH₄O, consists of oxo-bridged dinuclear complex molecules together with methanol solvent molecules. The dimers have twofold rotation symmetry. Cu has square-pyramidal coordination, with water in the apical site. The methanol molecule is disordered over a twofold rotation axis.
