Abstract: The title compound, C₁₇H₁₅ClNO⁺·ClO₄^-, has been synthesized and characterized by ¹H NMR and X-ray diffraction techniques. The bicyclic system is aromatic, with positively charged nitrogen, and is conjugated with the benzene ring.
