1-(4-Chlorophenyl)-3-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)propan-1-one

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₁H₁₀ClN₃O, crystallizes in space group $P\overline1$ with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The bond lengths and angles in both molecules are within normal ranges. The dihedral angles between the planes of the triazole and benzene rings in the two independent molecules are 82.6 (1) and 85.9 (1)°.
