1,4-Bis(2-pyridylsulfanyl)butane

Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, C₁₄H₁₆N₂S₂, adopts an anti conformation based on the two pyridine rings with respect to the central alkyl chain. The two terminal pyridine rings are almost parallel to each other, with a dihedral angle of 18.1 (4)°.
