Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₀H₁₅NO₃, the central six-membered ring has a chair conformation. The conformations of the fused furan and oxopyrrolidine rings are close to envelopes. Molecules form chains parallel to the b axis, via O-HO intermolecular hydrogen bonds.
