Abstract: The title complex, (C₈H₂₀N)₂[Cd(C₃S₅)₂], has the Cd atom in a distorted tetrahedral geometry, due to the relatively small bite angles, 88.61 (4)-88.78 (4)°, of the 2-thioxo-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dithiolate ligands.
