5-(2-Chlorobenzoyl)-1,3-benzoxazol-2(3H)-one

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₄H₁₈ClNO₃, contains a planar dihydrobenzoxazolone ring system and a planar chlorobenzoyl group; the dihedral angle between the two planes is 86.84 (4)°. In the crystal structure, there are intermolecular C-HO and N-HO hydrogen bonds, together with - stacking interactions.
