3N,N',N'']isothiocyanatocopper(II) thiocyanateAbstract: In the title compound, [Cu(NCS)(C20H14N4)]SCN, the Cu atom is four-coordinated by a tridentate chelating 4'-(2-pyridyl)-2,2':6',2''-terpyridine ligand and one isothiocyanate group in a square-planar coordination geometry. The sum of angles around the CuII center is 359.1°.
