Abstract: The title compound, C₂₆H₂₆N₄·2CH₃OH, lies across a crystallographic inversion centre. The two benzimidazole pendant substituents adopt a trans conformation. O-HN and C-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into a two-dimensional network parallel to (01).
