N-[6-(Hydroxymethyl)pyridin-2-yl]-2,2-dimethylpropanamide

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₁H₁₆N₂O₂, inversion-related molecules form an O-HO and N-HO hydrogen-bonded dimer. The hydrogen bonds generate rings of motifs $R_{2}^{1}$ (6) and $R_{2}^{2}$ (10). Weak [pi] - [pi] interactions between the dimers stabilize the crystal packing.
