Abstract: The title compound, [Sn₂(C₁₀H₁₃)₆(C₈H₄O₄)], crystallizes with one molecule per asymmetric unit. The phthalate dianion binds two sterically crowded triorganotin entities and both Sn atoms exist in tetrahedral environments.
