(Acetonitrile)(2,2'-bipyridine)tricarbonylrhenium(I) perchlorate

Abstract: The title compound, [Re(C₂H₃N)(C₁₀H₈N₂)(CO)₃]ClO₄, was isolated from the reaction between [ReCl(bpy)(CO)₃] (bpy is 2,2'-bipyridine) and AgClO₄ in acetonitrile. The Re atom adopts a distorted octahedral geometry.
