Abstract: The title compound, C₂₃H₃₀O₈, was prepared from macrocalyxin A and its structure was established from the ESI-MS, ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR and X-ray crystallographic data. Two unique molecules are present in the asymmetric unit.
