2N,N]copper(I) perchlorate dichloromethane solvateAbstract: The title compound, [Cu(C22H16N2)2]ClO4·CH2Cl2, was isolated from the reaction between [Cu(PPh3)2(CH3CN)2]ClO4 and Pt(Ph-CNN)Cl [Ph-CNN is 2-(4,6-diphenyl-2-pyridyl)pyridine] in dichloromethane. The Cu atom adopts a distorted tetrahedral geometry.
