(Z)-5-Benzylidene-3-phenethyl-2-thioxoimidazolidin-4-one

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₈H₁₆N₂OS, crystallizes in a triclinic unit cell with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. Intermolecular N-HS, C-HO and C-HS hydrogen bonds link the molecules into ribbons, which form stacks with short intra- and intermolecular SC [3.385 (5) Å] and CO' [3.162 (5) Å] contacts.
