trans-Bis[(2E)-3-(N,N-dimethylamino)-1-(2-pyridyl)prop-2-en-1-one]diisothiocyanatonickel(II)

Abstract: In the title complex, [Ni(NCS)₂(C₁₀H₁₂N₂O)₂], the Ni atom is trans-coordinated by two pairs of N and O atoms from two bidentate chelating (2E)-3-(N,N-dimethylamino)-1-(2-pyridyl)prop-2-en-1-one ligands, and by two N atoms from two isothiocyanate ligands, in a distorted octahedral geometry. The complex is located on an inversion center.
