3-[N'-(4-Hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)hydrazinocarbonyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazole

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₁H₁₁N₅O₃, was synthesized by the reaction of 3-(1H)-1,2,4-triazole hydrazine with 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde in ethanol. In the crystal structure, intermolecular N-HO, O-HN and N-HN hydrogen bonds are observed. An intramolecular O-HO hydrogen bond is also found.
