N'-(2-Chlorobenzylidene)-2-hydroxybenzohydrazide

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₄H₁₁ClN₂O₂, was synthesized by the reaction of 2-hydroxybenzoylhydrazine with 2-chlorobenzaldehyde in ethanol. The crystal structure involves intermolecular O-HO and intramolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds.
