Bis(4-hydroxybenzoato-²O,O')(1,10-phenanthroline-²N,N')copper(II)

Abstract: In the title complex, [Cu(C₇H₅O₃)₂(C₁₂H₈N₂)], the Cu^II atom is located on a twofold axis and assumes an elongated octahedral geometry formed by two 4-hydroxybenzoate anions and a 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) molecule. There is a C-H interaction between phen and the benzene ring of benzoate.
