Abstract: The V atom in the title compound, [V(C₁₃H₁₀NO₂)(C₁₈H₁₆N₂O₃)O], is O,O'-chelated by an N-benzoylhydroxylaminate ligand and O,N,O'-chelated by a benzoylacetone 4-methoxybenzoylhydrazonate ligand. The oxo O atom occupies the sixth coordination site of the octahedral coordination.
