Abstract: The Ni atom in the title compound, [Ni(C₁₃H₁₅BrNO)₂], is chelated through the O and N atoms of the ligands in a distorted square-planar geometry. The Ni atom lies on a twofold rotation axis. Adjacent molecules are linked by BrBr interactions into a chain.
