Poly[disilver(I)(Ag-Ag)--4-chlorobenzoato--piperazine]

Abstract: The 2/1 adduct of 4-chlorobenzoato-silver(I) and piperazine, [Ag₂(ClC₆H₄COO)₂(C₄H₁₀N₂)]_n, adopts a chain structure in which the Ag atom is linked to one chlorobenzoate anion, one piperazine heterocycle and another Ag atom. The two Ag atoms exist in tetrahedral environments.
