Abstract: The title compound, [Cu(C₇H₄BrO₂)₂], is a centrosymmetric mononuclear copper(II) complex. The Cu^II atom is four-coordinated by four O atoms from two 5-bromosalicylaldehyde ligands, forming a slightly distorted square-planar coordination configuration.
