L-Asparaginyl-L-valine 1.33-hydrate

Abstract: The title compound, C₉H₁₇N₃O₄·1.33H₂O, crystallizes with three peptide molecules and four water molecules in the asymmetric unit. Two of the peptide molecules contain an intramolecular hydrogen bond between the N-terminal amino group and the asparagine side chain. Valine side chains aggregate into large hydrophobic columns.
