Abstract: In the title compound, C15H11ClN2O, the dihedral angle between the pyridyl and phenyl rings is 38.7 (4)°. The molecules are linked via O-H
N and C-H
N interactions, forming infinite chains running along the b axis. The structure is further stabilized by weak C-H
interactions.
