Abstract: In the title compound, C15H11ClN2O, the dihedral angle between the pyridyl and phenyl rings is 38.7  (4)°. The molecules are linked via O-H...N and C-H...N interactions, forming infinite chains running along the b axis. The structure is further stabilized by weak C-H...[pi] interactions.
