2O,O')nickel(II) dichlorideAbstract: The title compound, [Ni(C2H5N3O2)2(H2O)2]Cl2, contains Ni2+ cations octahedrally coordinated by two bidentate biuret molecules in an O,O'-bidentate coordination mode and two water molecules, the latter in a trans configuration. Two chloride anions provide charge compensation. Numerous N-H

O = 2.991 Å), N-H
Cl (mean H
Cl = 2.46 Å, mean N-H
