Abstract: The title compound, C₁₄H₁₀ClNO, is a nitrogen derivative closely related to natural 3',7-epoxy-8,4'-oxyneolignans, which are of interest because of their cytotoxic activity. Centrosymmetric hydrogen bonding occurs between pairs of molecules.
