Abstract: The title compound, [Co(C₁₃H₁₈NO)₂], was synthesized by the disproportionation of methyl-tetrakis(trimethylphosphine)cobalt with 3-tert-butyl-N,5-dimethylsalicylaldimine in diethyl ether. The cobalt center in the structure is in a distorted tetrahedral geometry.
