Abstract: The title compound, [(OC₆H₄CH=NCH₂COO)SbPh₃]·CH₂Cl₂ or [Sb(C₆H₅)₃(C₉H₇NO₃)]·CH₂Cl₂, is a mononuclear antimony(V) complex. The asymmetric unit comprises two independent molecules of the complex and two solvent molecules. In both complex molecules, the Sb atoms are in distorted octahedral environments.
