2-(Methylsulfanyl)nicotinic acid

Abstract: The title compound, C₇H₇NO₂S, forms centrosymmetric acid dimers which are connected through weak C-HO interactions to form a tape. Adjacent tapes are arranged in a zigzag fashion with weak methyl-methyl interactions.
