Abstract: The title compound, C₁₂H₁₄N₄O₂S₂·H₂O, is a member of a new series of imidazo[2,1-b]thiazoles. The thiazolidine ring system adopts an envelope conformation. The packing is stabilized by intra- and intermolecular hydrogen-bond interactions.
