Abstract: The title compound, C10H12N2O4, crystallizes as discrete molecules disposed about crystallographic centres of symmetry, with two independent half-molecules constituting the asymmetric unit of the unit cell. The succinimide rings are essentially planar. No unusual features are observed in the molecular geometry.
