Abstract: In the title complex, [Cu₂I₂(C₁₂H₈N₂)₂]·C₂H₃N, two Cu^I atoms are bridged by two I atoms and each Cu^I atom is chelated by a 1,10-phenanthroline ligand to give four-coordinate tetrahedral geometry.
