3-[(2-Hydroxybenzylidene)hydrazinocarbonyl]-1H-1,2,4-triazole ethanol solvate

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₀H₉N₅O₂·C₂H₆O, was synthesized by the reaction of 3-hydrazino-1H-1,2,4-triazole with 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde in ethanol. The crystal structure involves intermolecular O-HO, N-HO and N-HN hydrogen bonds; intramolecular O-HN and N-HN hydrogen bonds are also found.
