-chloro-bis{chloro[3,5-dimethyl-1-(thiocarbamoyl)pyrazole-
2N2,S]cadmium(II)} Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, [Cd2Cl4(C6H9N3S)2], has been determined. The compound is isomorphous with the previously reported CuII and CoII complexes. It is centrosymmetric and contains binuclear molecular units with five-coordinate Cd atoms, doubly bridged by Cl atoms. The structure is stabilized by a two-dimensional network of hydrogen bonds involving the terminal Cl atoms as acceptors and thiocarbamoyl group N atoms as donors.
