Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Zn(NCS)₂(C₆H₈N₂)₂], the Zn atom and both isothiocyanate groups lie on a crystallographic mirror plane. The Zn atom is in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. The crystal structure is stabilized by N-HS hydrogen bonds and weak - interactions.
