Abstract: In the title compound, C23H18BrN3O2S2, the sulfonyl-bound phenyl ring and benzimidazole moiety are nearly orthogonal to the indole ring system. The molecular structure is stabilized by C-H
Br and C-H
O hydrogen bonding interactions. In the crystal structure, glide-related molecules are linked by N-H
N hydrogen bonds to form chains along the c axis and adjacent chains are interlinked by C-H
interactions into a three-dimensional network.
