2-Iodoaniline at 100 K

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₆H₆IN, each 2-iodoaniline molecule forms part of three extended helices. Each helix exhibits a different intermolecular interaction, viz. weak N-HN hydrogen bonds with an HN distance of 2.31  (11)  Å, II interactions of 3.7986  (15)  Å and C-H contact distances of 2.53  Å.
